Yesterday, the kids decided to have a lemonade stand and give all proceeds to the firefighter victims of NYC. I was so proud of them.. it was Cody, Summer and a bunch of the other neighborhood children. In a few hours they had raised over $200. The fire dept. got word and surprised the kids with a visit - they drove up the street with the sirens blaring and lights going...we were all choked up to say the least.. the kids were jumping and cheering.
